I am so thrilled by Nokia n900 that it’s the perfect device for me. I love the UI of it. I’m a kind a person that gets attracted by a pretty cool interface and fell for it considering its potential. So keeping in mind all the specification of N900 it’s still not a perfect phone. Well no phone is perfect! So I have decided to upgrade it a bit.Considering it’s a Concept I have in my mind for Nokia N910, If there would be any. Following are the upgrades:
Display
· 3.5” SUPER AOMLED Capacitative Touch screen 16M colours.
· Dimension same as N900
Processor
· 1 GHz minimum
Camera
· 8 mega pixel, Carl Zes with Xenon Flash( Primary)
· 1 Mega Pixel or VGA( Secondary)
Connectivity
· Bluetooth 3.0
· USB ON THE GO ( Must since that’s what makes Nokia Different)
Multimedia
· Music Player with customisable themes, MP3,AC3,OGG,WAV etc
· Movie Player, MP4, AVI,RM, 3GP,FLV, QT,MPEG etc
· Video Editor
· Photo Editor
These are some of the feature that should be upgraded for the Nokia N910, Well at least I think so. Can be better, can be worse. But if Nokia is planning to work on N910 then some of the feature are essential that it should have and I consider them as MUST HAVE:
· MEEGO and can be upgraded to Android.
· USB ON THE GO
· At least an AMOLED screen, its high time Nokia joins the race.
· Proper video playing Codecs. ( FLV, QT, MKV)
· An Office Editor and not Just Viewer.
· Portrait mode for the whole OS and not just some Applications.
· Capacitative touch with a Special Stylus with a special tip that works on the capacitative Touch. ( I should be able to click a link without zooming in)
· Improved Battery life. At least 1500mAH battery.
· 1 Ghz processor minimum.
We are there to help Nokia to build a better device for us and for them. Our feedback is what they are highly concerned about and our recommendation is the source of their new innovation. Its just some unique ideas that can take Nokia over its competitors and eventually the share price ;).
I could have gone for the perfect device and could have made an ultimate one, but HEY let’s just save the last DANCE!

You have nailed most of the stuff it needs.
I could actually go for a slightly larger phone too. With a slightly larger keyboard and 4 rows of keys. And a slightly larger screen. A super high resolution AMOLED screen would be nice.
The TV out is just super. I use it all the time, both at home and at work - hooking up my phone to projectors and so on.
The battery needs to be really big. Weight is not an issue in my case. I have the device hooked up to a charger/USB connection most of the time anyway... But when I need to use ALL the functions for a few hours.. it really sucks the juice out of the battery.
Since MeeGo is the preferred OS for new cars, Nokia should be making a super docking for cars, so the device can be used for everything in the car.
The internet radio (separate device) for Nokia is really good btw. Why does they not advertise the product? It is well hidden in their web page.
I'm stoked about the N900. I use it a lot!!
I wake up to the alarm in the morning. I plug it in the stereo and listen to music/podcasts/news in the shower. I watch movies/sitcoms/educational movies in the train to work. I sync all my stuff at work and home. I use it to watch movies at home (connect it to the TV). I download user manuals and PDF documents that I need to have handy at work. I show small presentations at customers, using their projector. Many people can not belive I can use my phone to do that.
I listen to music with the device. I have no CDs around anymore. I have just started to program on and to the device. And I have started to use all the network utilities for the device. It is clearly a lot of smart people around that make all these apps.
I used to have to carry a fluke, but now I can use a small device and connect it to the USB slot, and the fluke can stay in the office.
I just makes me wonder what they will improve on the next model.
But I'm in no rush. I am so pleased with this phone.
Did I mention I use is at a GPS in the car, and it can do the job OK. Even though not as good as a regular GPS yet. But it covera all my needs. I also use it with a bluetooth headset all day. No wonder that is use a lot of power.
I agree to the AMOLED screen and a capasitive screen that can use a stylus.
